Kelly Avery - Born: 1965
Kelly Avery grew up in Prineville, Oregon.
In September of ‘96, Kelly went to hear his brother play guitar at a youth rally in town. He ended up staying for the message, and although what the Pastor said made him uneasy, it also really hit home. Kelly responded to the gospel message, and his younger brother prayed with him right there to receive Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Kelly and his wife Brandi began attending Calvary Chapel of Crook County in early 2004, when the church was meeting in a school cafeteria. Shortly thereafter, Kelly began playing drums for the church.
In 2006, Kelly was asked to come on board as an elder.
Kelly’s heart for ministry is in worship/music, and in ministering to the church through technological means (Computers, networking, troubleshooting, and assorted gadgetries).
Kelly and Brandi have been married since October of ‘97, recently celebrating ten years of marriage.
They have three children: Josiah (7), Zoee (6), and Spencer (3).
They enjoy spending time together as a family, along with their 2 dogs and 4 cats.
