Posted below are the bulletin announcements for Sunday, August 24th, 2008…
Secret Sister Reveal and Brunch: All ladies, we will be getting together at the church for a brunch and to reveal our “secret sisters.” This will be on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 10 – Noon, and all women are invited. Bring a final gift revealing who you are. If you would like to bring a breakfast dish, contact Andrea at 788-9703.
Ladies’ Bible Study: Beginning September 18, we will study Beth Moore’s Living Beyond Yourself. The study will be at the church on Thursdays, both in the morning (9-11 AM) and evening (7-9 PM). Childcare will be available in the morning only. Sign up and pay ($16) in the foyer. Andrea Couch: 788-9703.
New Chairs are Coming! New Chairs are Coming! We will be ordering new sanctuary chairs in the near future. If you would like to help out, the cost is $60/chair. More info is forthcoming.

Oasis Opportunities (Brandi Avery: 788-6141)
· Donate canned food for the food cupboard. There will be a black box in the foyer if you feel led to contribute.
· Collect Price Slasher grocery receipts. The Oasis will get 1% of the total of receipts turned in! There is a box in the foyer marked Oasis Receipts.
· Contribute recipes. The Oasis is doing a cookbook fund raiser and we need recipes from all categories. Please have them to Brandi or Erika. You can either email them to oasis@calvarycrookcounty.com or drop them by the Oasis.
Ignite – A Marriage Conference, November 14 – 15: Beginning Friday evening at 7 PM and concluding Saturday at 5 PM, the speaker will be Pastor Jeff Stewart from Calvary Chapel of Pomona. The location and cost will be announced at a later date.
