Ladies Retreat: Join us at the Suttle Lake Camp and Retreat Center for a fall retreat, Sept. 10-11. The cost is $85, and since we will be limited to 28 people, you should put a deposit down now to hold your place. There are only a few spaces left! Beth Moore Simulcast – “Living Proof of God’s Love”: Attention ladies! Mark your calendars for Sat., Sept. 18, from 9:30am to 4pm, at Powell Butte Christian Church. This is a free event. More information will follow, and you can also contact Annette Jones at 541-771-1696.

Connect with your local church body: The church website now has a new page dedicated to pair resources and needs. If you go to the website and click on “Connect” in the navigation bar, it will take you directly to the main page. If you’re a website member, you’ll be able to post your needs and resources for everyone in the Body to see. If you aren’t a member, don’t fret! If you have a Facebook account you can become a member in just a few simple clicks! Custodial Ministry Needs: We are looking for a custodial ministry overseer, somebody to keep the cleaning volunteer schedule organized and the building maintenance needs taken care of. We are also are still needing volunteers for cleaning both on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Join us at the Pulse: Come join us every Thursday evening at 6pm, as we gather in the park for an intimate time of prayer and worship. We also devote the first half-hour to the study of R.A. Torrey’s book, How to Pray.

New Books on the Bookstore Shelf: Pastor Rory has recently come across some good reads and would like to make them available to you. Look for “50 People Every Christian Should Know,” “Living Water” and the “The Read With Me” Children’s storybook.

New Direction with 2forty2 Home Groups: Start planning ahead, 2forty2s will be moving to Wednesday nights in October! In the meantime be praying about what home group you should be a part of, in what ways your gifts will be best used in a smaller setting, and who you could be inviting to fellowship with you. There will be more information to come.

Men’s Ministry: We’re going to start our Men’s Ministry up again on Nov. 6. Stay tuned for more information.

Oasis Can and Bottle Drive: Cans and bottles can be dropped off at the Oasis on weekdays from 9:30am-2pm. If you have a large quantity, call 447-7727 for a pickup.
