2forty2 Home Groups
Taking the name from the scripture, Acts 2:42, which says…
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.”,
2forty2 home groups were established in order to offer an atmosphere for community among members of the church, as well as a non-threatening place for non-members to learn about Jesus.
They take place at various locations the 2nd and 4th Sundays of October-June at 6pm.
We believe that deep, meaningful fellowship is vital to the believers life, and that our fellowship must go beyond the casual “how’s the weather” small talk that typically defines our conversation. True “fellowship” is centered upon that which we have in common; that being our relationship with Jesus.
2forty2 home groups consist of a shared potluck style meal, prayer, and a time of discussion based upon the mornings’ message.
