Film and Faith
Film and faith is a ministry that meets once every few months to view a movie, and then discuss how that movie relates to our faith. We believe that film is a lens through which we can view and engage our culture’s understanding of life, death, sin, God, redemption, and eternity.

If you want me to review a movie for you, shoot me an e-mail, or call me. My number is in the church directory. I can look up just about any movie in a flash. If you want me to watch and review that would take a bit longer.
Want to find out what is in a movie…
For in depth content descriptions go to dove family movie reviews. Type in your movie, then find it in the left hand column and click it.
If you can’t find your movie there, go to kids in mind. Type in your movie, then click on the movie you want.
If you still can’t find it, try IMBD. Type in your movie, then click on the movie title you want. Scroll down the page until you see additional details section. Click on View content advisory for parents.
Another cool site is Crosswalk.com, On this page you have to go to movie review archives. Click the letter that the movie starts with and find it. There is an article about the movie, and then the content info.
All of these pages tell you how much/what type of violence, profanity, sexuality/nudity, and drug use are in the film. Dove has an extra category of occult and other.
