The generoCity Project is about…

Generosity that improves the community - The generoCity Project is a call to all of us to play a part in making a better community, right here, right now. 100% of funds raised through the generoCity Project will go towards meeting specific needs in Prineville & Crook County.

Generosity that brings people together - The generoCity Project gives us a chance to shoulder the needs in our community together – as neighbors helping neighbors; families helping families; neighborhoods helping the city; a community helping each other.

Generosity as a way of life - A value of the generoCity Project is to take the things that we already do – the ways that we live and breathe, our routines and patterns, and the things that we already care about and value – and find ways to practice generosity through them. The generoCity Project is a way for us all to learn how to see everything that we do as a potential pathway of generosity.

 

 

UPDATE~~ as of Feb 2012, GeneroCity is able to write a check to the school for $10,000.00 from what they raised this summer! You can come to the School Board meeting and see what takes place and be a part. It will be at Pioneer High School,
297 NE Holly, Prineville at  5:30 pm(executive)and. 6:30 pm (regular).  Stay tuned for more updates and for more events!

Get Involved at the Oasis Soup Kitchen

Did you know that Calvary Crook County runs and oversees the Oasis Soup Kitchen? Well, we do!
The Oasis Soup Kitchen is managed by Rich Will, and overseen by our financial board and our elders. It is completely staffed by volunteers from within the community, which mostly come from other churches.
If you’re looking for a way to get involved with serving in the community and showing the love of Jesus to others, why not consider getting involved at the Oasis?

The Pulse

Join us on Thursday nights as we get our collective finger on the pulse of the Spirit of God through an evening of prayer and worship, Thursday nights from 6 – 7:30pm.

We believe that corporate worship and prayer is a vital part to a healthy and productive church because it is how we bring ourselves before the Lord, humbly waiting on His Spirit to move our hearts to beat to the pulse of His heart.

1to1 Discipleship

Are you a new believer? Are you looking to be grounded in your faith? Are you desiring to take the next step in your relationship with God?

We are going to be offering an 8 week 1 on 1 discipleship/mentoring program.  This program will be open to anybody that is willing to commit to meeting once a week for 8 weeks with a mature person (man to man/woman to woman) from the church that will be assigned to you. The schedule will be flexible and will be worked out between you and the person discipling you.
